Man, this game was so important. The idea of a systems-driven open world action game is everywhere now, but Outcast is legitimately the first execution of this I can remember, and it was ambitious even by modern standards.

Hanzo is never okay.

You sure it’s not due to the immediate C&D letters sent to said fan projects after coverage such as this one is made?

Due to a mistranslation that no one has ever bothered to correct in the Quran most modern Muslims believe that Mohammed declared that dogs were haram, forbidden.

What he ACTUALLY said was wash your hands after you play with your dog, because rabies was an epidemic in the region and they knew it had something to do

Theres an emphasis on cleanliness in Arabic culture (especially those who are muslim). We regard dogs and pigs as filthy animals, so to be called one is insulting. Its basically the arabic “you smell bad!” Ive always found arabic insults hilarous.

It’s funny how this is exactly what Playtonic did with JonTron.

I came here to say this. I mean come on. The original NES had nothing remotely close to that.

The fact this game was getting near perfect scores despite how fucking stupid this central mechanic is really does show the nostalgia factor when it comes to reviews.

Not all content is made equal. I felt that DAI disrespected my time with filler stuff that didn’t really make an impact or even represent what the game was ‘about.’ I’m playing dozens of hours of Zelda, but the game is packed with mysteries / charm, so it doesn’t feel like a waste of my time - I am still discovering

We learn a lot of words growing up. We learn a lot of words at school. We might even learn some at college. But as expansive as our vocabularies can become through traditional means of education, let's not forget that video games can teach us new words as well. Usually weird ones.

FAKE!!!! Because alpha is so old, the print runs have been meticulously mapped, and getting these two rares in this order in a starter pack is impossible. This thread on MTG salvation explains why - http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-f… - and here's a copy/paste from the thread.

If money wasn't an issue, can someone in Japan tell me what benefits living in these small apartments have over living in the countryside? I'd rather have a small apartment in a rural area then in a big city.
