I had a 98 SVT Contour that I loved, but BMW lust got me and I bought a 1997 540I6. It was a l9ng series of troubles, but I still had to sell the SVT. When the transport was pulling away from me with my SVT on the back, my first thought was “My God, I’ve sold the wrong one.” And I had. I still miss the intake noise…

Acord sales are down in Canada? Maybe it’s because, after taxes, the Accord Sport. 2.0T with a stick is $39, 000+ dollars, and the financing rate isn’t great (3.99 %). I wanted to buy one untill I did the math.

Yep, and much more power was available by changing out the resonator. The legend was that the Ford engi eers had to restrict the power on the SCs a little bit because it was routinely spanking the Mustang in testing. 20hp was apparently available with that one simple mod.

Man o man, this brings back memories of my 85. I loved that car, and treated it as well as I could as a poor srudent. I. Lrarned a lot about cars on that one. I even had some body work done and painted one whole side with rattelecans. I waited a month then colur sanded and buffed it until it was like glass.

There is one thing that this ignores: as stated, this is a government town, the pay system has been a mess for a year. Ther are a LOT of peoe in the region being paid less than their salary, face clawbacks due to being overpaid, or haven’t been paid at all. People have had to quit their jobs because they had…
