You are overrating Hogan and Underrating Bennett.

That was my primary thought after the game. They finally have that decent to good WR in Hogan and a second decent to good TE in Bennett. In addition the defense seems to be capable of really great stops and the offensive line is finally holding up.

Even God shrugs helplessly when the Browns are brought up at divine meetings.

The fact that they have started 3-0, beat two playoff teams from last year with the backup QBs AND haven’t been playing with a lot of key players makes this Pats team very scary.

God help the Browns.

This was the closest thing to a college game the NFL has produced in a while. Bad football. Beds were shitted.

Brady is going to come back as a man on a mission and as long as the Giants don’t make the Superbowl there is every chance of a perfect Patriot season if they start 4 and 0 without Brady.

The longer they can “truthfully” admit they haven’t seen it, the easier it is for them to dodge questions.

The worst one I keep seeing is “You can’t believe everything protestors say” the implication being that their explanation of events is some how worse than the police’s, which is just fucking ridiculous when we’ve seen how often the police just blatantly lie and obfuscate.

This is what I keep saying. Cops lie all the time. Comments keep coming up like “well, if he was holding a gun?” OR “he was 13 he shouldn’t have held up a gun at the cops.” Do you know if that really happened. In my city a young man was shot multipe times by police and the public was told he was in a police chase and

I heard the Charlotte mayor on NPR this morning. When she said she hadn’t seen the video yet, I really wanted Steve Inskeep to ask her if that was reasonable. This is now two days after the event, and in the same span of time, Tulsa has already released its video of the event. Is there any possible excuse for the fact

“The video doesn’t corroborate our story, but trust us, it’s our story that’s right and not the video. Because video, much like science and the female orgasm, is a just a bunch of lies.”

This is ridiculous. They will eventually need to show us the videos. It’s not like the public is going to let this go.

Eh, I’m of two minds with this. I agree it shouldn’t be trivialized or sensationalized, but if approached correctly it could be good. I grew up with physical and sexual abuse and I think if I hadn’t believed I was the only one going through something similar (or that it was a bad reflection on me and my family - like

Well, if this is indeed true, I have her back. I actually tremendously respect a parent instantly taking action rather than putting it down to a slip up or a one time thing that just repeats itself.

I literally don’t want to know this. Please, as a fucking nation or whatever, let’s not sensationalize, thereby trivialize, child abuse or treat it like a weapon to be used for our entertainment as two celebrities spar with each other. These children and children like them are watching and reading and taking this in,

If this is true, I can see why she moved swiftly with the divorce and her having physical custody. From my impression, her children are her priority and she would want to keep them safe.

I didn’t guess this exact event, but I suspected it had to be something very specific that would be pretty damning of Pitt. From the get go, it seemed surprising that Angelina would have said in her statement that the divorce was for the health of the family and the date of separation was also kind of telling. I mean

We wanted juicy gossip not allegations of child abuse :(.

When I was getting a divorce because my now-ex-husband went off the deep end with his verbal and emotional abuse, I read that a study showed that most mid-life divorces are initiated by the woman because the husband is “behaving badly” (their words). I was so impressed by this, I wrote it in my journal. Sounds like
