Everything you see on TV and movies isn’t how it is in real life, son. It is hacking whether or not you believe it is. Hacking doesn’t mean some tech guru typing frantically to beat a wall and say, “I’m in!”

Similar mouth breather logic - “It’s not murder! I pushed the guy on the tracks but the train killed him!”
But there’s still no recommended daily intake. Which was my point.
Those numbers you mentioned are upper limits, not recommended amounts. Anyone who says that you need more than 0 grams of added sugar is a moron. Natural sugars are fine. But there’s no recommended daily intake for natural sugars or added sugars.
The only real source of resistance to the acknowledgment of the Anthropocene is politics. Because the implications in recognizing Global Warming and stuff like that. Scientifically, despite the few concerns stated in the article, there’s no solid reason to not officialize the fact that we effectively changed this…
Percentages for some things make sense. Protein isn’t one of them because it’s highly dependent on your weight and body composition. Someone who is 180lbs and 30% fat doesn’t need as much protein as someone who is 180lbs and 10% fat. More muscle requires more protein for muscle maintenance.
But that’s a cap, not a recommended amount to consume daily.
So quantify the 5%. Now, print a nutrition label, that has the sugar percentage, even though they have no idea how many other calories I’ve taken in that day.
It’s funny that the majority still don’t believe this. I brought that up in a conversation the other day, along with the idea that fat is good, not bad (depending on where it’s from), and everyone just kind of laughs it off.
The science behind that was: Cholesterol is in eggs, cholesterol is what clogs arteries. Therefore, cholesterol = bad. Ironically, the past year I’ve been eating about 4x as much cholesterol and barely any carbohydrates and my cholesterol is now 60% lower than it was.
Daily recommended intake of sugar is 0. That’s why there’s no percentage.
Everything about this is stupid. I’m a vegetarian. I was a vegan for 7 years.
The cholesterol limit was not “mysteriously dropped.” 30 years of scientific research have proven that dietary cholesterol has little to no impact on your bodies total cholesterol. Eating eggs does not lead to an increase in heart disease or…
I would hope so. If not, then how would that expression make any sense?
The people there to make friends or ensure that everyone likes them are generally the worst at their jobs, too.
Hey, remember how boring season two of The Walking Dead was? All those interminable scenes at Herschel’s farm?
As it should be - you're not there to make friends and play with balloons, you're there to do very difficult creative work.
Let's be honest: Everything after the pilot in the first season is pretty much garbage until maybe the CDC. And then the show spent the three years that followed being only occasionally watchable before turning a corner once Andrea finally died.
This is why I(at a relatively young age) learned to stop talking shit about your ex or the girl you are currently hooking up, but don’t really like. Eventually you might date them and you have to work through all the dumb shit you said.
You’re using Gretzky as part of supporting facts? He played 18 games for the Blues.
Sure sure, but aren’t you forgetting about The Best Fans in Baseball?
