I’d be willing to have a shred of belief in McCain’s fake-ass image of Maverick if he recovers, goes back to the Senate and votes against this garbage. Too bad the chances of this happening are next to zero.

His path may have been made easier this year with Murray, Nadal and Djokovic going down. But Damnit, if it was not still great to watch. With Murray done for a few months and Djokovic likely out due to the injury, he may even win the U.S. Open. 20 majors would be a nice capstone to his career.
