Those of us who sleep with someone else in the bed probably won’t make them very happy by projecting something on the wall or ceiling when they’re trying to sleep.

I’m not spending $350 on one, but I can see the appeal of being able to read while laying down in bed, which this would allow.

Honestly, I do get the appeal to a degree, but closer to a price point of say $50.  It would be wildly comfortable to read a book like this and blot out distraction. At $350, I’ll just spend $150 more and get a steam deck that creates worlds for me.

These white women should just be quiet and know their place”

Yeah, it’s not bigotry if it’s aimed at a race or gender we don’t like. Right? White women can’t be part of a diversity conversation. It’s ok to paint a group of people with a derogatory label so long as we agree that we don’t like that group. These white women should just be quiet and know their place. Right

How dare Disney Plus copy the HBO Max model of stripping streaming content!

I’m starting to think that there are no “tumultuous economic conditions” and all these giant corporations with record profits use it as an excuse fire people and not raise salaries. Yes, inflation is high but that’s to be expected. Housing market is still at a point where you have to stand in line to see an open

The CEO position needs to be the first one automated.

Not sure what we expect for a basic data entry job. These are not programming positions involving years of university education. It’s literally supplying knowledge to the AI which any grown adult already knows.

Honestly, I’m just here to say the Eternals is kind of underrated. Is it GREAT? No, but it’s visually different, tries something new with the story and climax, and isn’t afraid to get weird. If people want to know why so many MCU movies are samey samey, it’s because when they put out something a little outside of the

Honestly, I don’t know why I come here anymore.

Armored women lyin’ about distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!

Geothermal heat pumps have been used for decades and are simply circulating water, so the risk of any pollution would be minimal. The only real issue would be that you create a short cut for pollutants in the soil to bypass the typical filtering process of the ground above the aquifer. Which is the same thing you do

Agreed. Right now it fills the same niche as phlogiston and luminiferous ether.

The sequel trilogy discourse is more of an internet thing than a real-world phenomenon, I think. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be spinning Rey off into a new movie so soon. TROS isn’t even four years old, although the pandemic makes it seem like a decade.

Honestly, I don’t get the complaints about this season. It’s been more slice-of-life than overarching plot, and I can dig that for awhile. But even while doing that, they’re still moving the plot forward.

Crazy that Ryan Gosling is still playing “young” he does not look young in any capacity and never did.
