While you are correct that it was unprofessional, it doesn’t matter. Gabe is Valve and can say what ever he wants. At this point I doubt anything he says could be too detrimental to the company’s bottomline.

How is it even close to cheating when it is a part of the the design of the game? I could see if you needed to use a mod or some third party software to accomplish it. If you can save and reload at any time, however, you are not cheating by using a system set in place by the designer.

When I realize that an action I took just ruined hours of play time, I do not find that fun. If my only choice was to start over again from the beginning, I can assure you I’d never play the game again. Not saying there is anything wrong with your opinion, though. Not everyone finds playing that way fun, some people,

When did this term “save scumming” come into existence, anyway? When did it become wrong to reload a save if you want to try something differently?

I’ve never heard this meme, and like most, I now wish I hadn’t.

After some consideration I’ve come to a conclusion. This isn’t entitlement, this is capitalism! As a consumer it is your right to decide what a product is worth to you. It is not the consumers obligation to pay the seller’s asking price, no matter the justification. Entitlement would be to decide you deserve the game

$20 is well under my, admittedly arbitrary, limit of $30 for a game. I don’t see any reason for such complaints. Especially, this developer didn’t use crowd funding or a publisher? I don’t like to throw around the “entitled” slur thats being tossed at gamers all of a sudden, but... I don’t know in this case.

Wait... Did you just comparing modding a single player game with modding a competitive multiplayer game? Ever hear of Apples and Oranges?

I don’t pirate content, but I also think $60 is too much for any game. Except for a very select few developers I wont pay more than $30 for a game. I have the patience to wait for a sale and lack the unquenchable thirst of needing to play the newest games immediately.

Renting out the park, or part of it, is something Universal and Disney have always done. I worked a GE event where they rented the whole park for a night when I was at Universal Studios. I’m sure it’s really expensive, but I have no idea about the specific. I can say it was always BIG companies or industry events.

There were private Servers that existed until Take-Two and Rockstar decided they maybe could have lost a few dollars. So they put the legal ban hammer on it. Really, shame on you for wanting to play the game you already spent money on the way you want to.

I don’t really find this underhanded. If PWI was requiring video makers to keep quite about the videos being sponsored, that’s be different. As it is, they have to disclose that they are making the video for this campaign. Sure, it’s still paid content that will only produce positive images of the games.

Not disagreeing, at all. However, the first two games, as I’m told, were drenched in dark humor, pop-culture references and other humorous situations. Fallout 3 had a lot of humor to break up the more serious tone. It seems obvious, even to someone who hasn’t played the first two, that Fallout 3, and especially 4, are

Fallout 1,2, and 3 were dark and had some humor but they didn’t veer completely into camp.

I agree that Fallout 4 was lacking and Bethesda does need to improve in a few areas. However, with a little over 90 hours total spent in it I can’t agree that we should stop buying their games. I certainly got my $60 worth, and I expect I’ll be playing more when the G.E.C.K. drops. While it doesn’t live up to previous

Garbage without mods? Absolutely not. Improved? Yes. Even Fallout 4, while I am overall disappointed with the lack of options besides combat, I logged over 60 hours before even thinking about adding mods. Before that, I played Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim for over 100 hours each before I modded them for a

According to Luckey’s quote from the AmA he threw out the $350 price while knowing that their internal estimate was closer to $600. It wasn’t a guess at all.

While that is true. As a Floridian I can confirm, most Floridians are unbelievably stupid. I don’t have any evidence, but I’m pretty sure it’s the heat.

Wow. You’re the biggest, shit eating moron I’ve ever had the displeasure to read a comment from. Go back to fucking your mother, you worthless shitstain, and stay off the internet. For everyone’s sake.

No, they are pretty much just a big commercial for some form of media. Games, movies, shows, music whatever it is the awards only serve to give exposure and advertise the media presented. Then, of course, additional revenue from smaller commercials thrown in the middle for the network hosting the awards. No one SHOULD
