Whether or not cyberpunk is—by definition —dystopian, is an interesting philosophical question. I can’t say for certain. Like, I can’t cite any examples of non-dystopian cyberpunk, but at the same time, I feel like there has to be a way. 🤔

Obviously, as somebody taking a momentary break from existing in the VIRTUMAL REALMZ in order to write this, I agree that we live in a cyberpunk future, leaning precariously towards dystopia.
