Yes and no to you and MisterGutsy,
Yes and no to you and MisterGutsy,
Yup, same. Once it hits its first markdown, I’ll have to grab it.
Seriously. I’m so tired of seeing that shit. It’s the gaming equivalent of The Bachelor or Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, or whatever the correct order is for the title of Guy Fieri’s vanity project.
As the father of a toddler, I can’t imagine what it’s like to take care of a baby night after night while also having to constantly beat the crap out of street thugs every day. Sounds exhausting.
Every single time we make a stride towards some form of gender unity in this community it gets massively undercut by some assholes who think it’s somehow an invasion of their turf.
That’s just how they play the game though, that isn’t the games fault. It’s like those people that jump constantly in MMOs, do they have crippling ADD? Yes, but that doesn’t mean that’s how the game is meant to be played.
Fair, and an assumption I admit I made when I first read the post. That’s on me.
The ones who are not thinking about race 24 hours a day taking offense at everything.
I think he’s saying that because Bayonetta 2 was physical but you had to download Bayonetta 1. Not that the port itself was bad, but the packaging\delivery of the physical product.
I agree with the downloads part, as id rather have a tangible object in my hand when I buy a game. That said, it should be Nintendo offsetting the cost on their design choice. Cartridges have always been a cost to do business with Nintendo, peaking with the absurd price fluctuations in N64 games. It has been better…
You should honestly take Egas with a grain of salt. There are a lot of issues with developing on switch including its performance issues. Which do exist. Just because his crappy game manages to run on a switch isn’t exactly a pushing off point for the rest of us.
umm not every game is the same. Sure some games uses minimum processing power on Ps4/X1 and they wouldn’t have problem to get ported to Switch (aka Rocket League).. But I seriously doubt games like BattleField 1 can be ported to Switch effortlessly.
Remember that the guys behind ARK are the same people who were releasing DLC for their game while it was in Early access, then did no work on their core game for 2 years while they patched the DLC and made another. 2 years of Dupping bugs and glitches while their official servers fell appart.
Half-assed. Half-assedly would work, too. Or it should.
Of course, everyone can say they’d be willing to pay an extra $5 or $10 if it meant the entire game fit at no expense to the textures. But that’s still an extra $500,000 to $1,000,000 in manufacturing costs for 100,000 games manufactured. And THAT’S where the problems run in. It’s a huge investment to invest in a…
Sexy Brutale is a great and original game that runs great on every platform. Except The Switch.
Whole the port is poor, The Sexy Brutale is actually a pretty acclaimed game that reviewed really well on other platforms. I was ready to buy it for the Switch but luckily read some reviews before pulling the trigger.
If you’re one of those folks who prefers a physical delivery medium for your games, this isn’t a situation that’s going to get better, unfortunately. Online storage is dramatically cheaper and faster than having to pay for carts, burn the game build onto the carts, create packaging for the carts, print said packaging…
Don’t mind me I’m still sitting here fuming at myself for buying The Sexy Brutale on Switch without reading up on it first.
I just hope the switch doesnt fall into another “Wii Version vs Playstation/Xbox version” type of situation
