What a surreal and slightly idiotic set of circumstances. I can’t identify with any part of this article, not the streamers, his viewers, his living situation, his apparent lack of adult coping skills to engage in other more conventional social activities during his suspension. These articles about Twitch, the

Horizon: Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy 15, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, The Order: 1886, Gravity Rush Remastered, Persona 4 Golden, and the entire Uncharted series have been my 8th Gen evergreens. Additionally, each and every Yakuza game as it drops.

To voice an opinion? He still sees the headlines either way.

Two of the things that have been holding back digital distribution are slow/capped internet service and built-in hard drives that are too small.

Why do you guys write posts about piracy? I’d rather not hear about it. Games are really easy and cheap to buy legitimately.

I’ll try to complete Resident Evil 6 (I only have the last character to complete) and I’ll start RE: Revelations 2 after that. I still have to play RE7.

I feel like this is going to be a busy weekend, so I am going to try and limit what I play to just switch games. So that would be moving forward on my 100% Super Mario Odyssey game, Golf Story, and Splatoon 2. Might through in Breath of the Wild dlc too. I didn’t get much more progress in SMO, still working on the

The police response is definitely part of the problem, but let us please not lose sight of the fact that the situation wouldn’t have existed without an individual unable to separate losing in a game from their personal sense of self-worth, and the enabler who took their indignation and turned it into a call to

They’d say no because they love making games. It’s their whole existence. They don’t care about the bottom line (which is why they’re pirate-friendly). They also don’t have shareholders (They aren’t a traded company)

Looks like you’re getting shit on for your opinion, but I couldn’t agree more. Dumping hundreds of dollars into a F2P game is moronic and I have no sympathy for them whatsoever.

I think my biggest hurdle for the multiplayer was adjusting to how the game felt coming off Battlefield 1 and a few other games that have a bit more weight. This is an arcade game and it feels like one.

I finished the campaign now, and have played enough multiplayer to unlock a few heroes.

We all have lines that we won’t cross. I don’t share in your aversion to games that sell cosmetic loot crates, but I can at least respect your principled position. I also remember when games were as you described. Fun is a subjective measure, and your personal wealth is yours to earn and spend.

Back in the day, you plunked down 50 for your game and the whole damn thing was on the disc. Unlockables could either be well, unlocked or cheat coded depending on your level of hardcore.

It really has come to the point where the consumer has to distrust any positive news about games, because companies marketing is so often based on trickery.

Other games are able to make money with free dlc/etc and still not be this terrible at it

Really? faster load times are what do it for you?

This just seems like a stop gap console that didn’t need to exist. The “hypothetical” power of this console is borderline next-gen and it will never be fully utilized as long as the Devs have to optimize for XBone, XBone S and Xbone X all with varying levels of hardware power.

I seem to recall Sony being very upfront that achieving true 4k was an expensive avenue to take, and their console was aimed at hitting it via checkerboarding or displaying at a higher resolution and upscaling from there. Shit even an ad I saw yesterday from their twitter account claims dynamic 4k and not native.
