As soon as I saw Peach near the bottom of the list I was like Oh okay, sure I guess if you're only counting vertical recovery, but that's far from the only important factor.

That graphic somehow skipped Psychic type being over powered in Gen. 1 though...

You know you don't really have to keep track of ALL of them, right? I mean, I probably know less than half of them and have no trouble getting through the games (which are atually considerably easier than they used to be because it's much easier to overlevel now, even without grinding), and very little trouble

It was also widely disliked, so that's not really a point in your favour.

Seriously, after all of these games, and with all of those water/aquatic type pokemon that would clearly live in the sea/ocean, you think they would have better sense than to fill every body of water with a billion tentacool.

I'm pretty sure that's just you.

This was basically the final thing that tipped me in favor of AS.

That's what I was thinking too. But almost everyone I know is getting Ruby, and I'm way more partial to grass type pokemon than fire or water, so playing a game where Team Aqua's going to stupidly keep throwing water Pokemon at me might actually be in my best interest.

That's exactly what I thought when I read that. But then I realized that no one I know is actually going to be USING the legendaries, so really it doesn't even matter.

I wish I could play as or against him for most of the game, his character design in this easily stomps the floor with ALL of the other character designs, IMO.

Frankly they both look stupid to me.

I like Red more than Blue, but I'm getting Sapphire this time anyway because everyone I know who's getting this gen except one person is getting Ruby.

Better hope your friend doesn't go with Electric or Grass type.

I mean, it's still pretty surprising, because it's such a useless bonus. Normal potions become irrelevant extremely quickly in this game, I don't think I've ever even used fifty of them in a Pokemon game, much less TWO HUNDRED.

I went with your "alternatively" option. I almost always get the "first" of the two games, because I like that color better (red over blue, gold over silver, black over white, etc). However, that would mean Ruby this time (which, let's be honest, are way better than Sapphires), which I would normally be fine with, but

I couldn't believe she knew Pikmin, but not Peach (I mean at least recognize that she's the Mario Princess?) or SONIC.

Well, for one, look how long it took them to make FFXIII, which had significantly less content and exploration than VII. Now think of how long it's taking them to make FFXV, which will supposedly have more content.

Pretty much. I hate when people try to claim you're blinded by nostalgia if you dare to say you played a game from your childhood recently and still liked it. I don't like FFVI, Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana because I was in grade school when I first played them, I like them because they're really good games.

Why would you want that? Way more 16-30 year olds buy and play games habitually than little kids. Not to mention that the children's opinion is probably not going to be the same as your own opinion, as you are not a 6 year old.

Because it's completely impossible to dislike a country's political/wartime actions but like some of the other things they do?
