I'm pretty sure their point was that if they were worried that 4 parades would be crowded, then cancelling only some of them was a bad idea because some of the people that planned on going to the ones that were cancelled might have shown up at the the two that weren't, making the overcrowding problem worse.

I really hope you look into reading the manga (or watching season 2 whenever that comes out). Calling it a "Mecha" anime is kind of a misnomer, though I can see why you might think that at this point in the story.

I'll just keep my eyes out for previews. I really liked 13 for what it was (hated 12, and definitely don't want any more games in the series to play like 13, but I still enjoyed that game), but FFXIV, at least when I was playing it, really was pretty great. And so was Bravely Default, and Type-0 is decent as well. I

I thought the second movie was terrible enough when they got to the showdown with Nemesis at the end, but when they revealed they'd made a crapton of Alice clones I knew they'd completely run out of ideas and were just asking a 3 year old what they thought would make a cool movie.

She is mixed, but part of that mix has always been very obviously asian, name aside.

But...what twenty things were going on at once? In the first game it was "investigate the mansion, oh there's zombies! We should look for a way out. Oh, and our boss is evil and led us here on purpose." In the second game it was "Oh crap, there are zombies in this town, we should escape (and also protect the little

I disagree. Granted, they didn't like it, and scrapped it for the movie that did make it to theaters, but Romero had written a script for the first Resident Evil movie which was a LOT more based on the games than any of the movies so far have been (STARS team goes to check out problems in the woods, gets stuck in

I disagree though. I mean, I'm pretty sure most people think of the movies as an alternate universe, in fact, you pretty much have to if you know anything about the games at all since they're so different. The problem is that almost all of the movies are just plain bad movies in their own right.

And yet it was still a decent movie. All the movies that came after it were not only bad resident evil movies, but just plain bad movies.

It's not a NEW game, but I assume you've heard they're HD-ifying the Re1 remake on Gamecube?

While not brand new, the image below was recently uploaded to 2ch, Japan's largest internet forum. It's an excellent look at how the film actors stack up against the original game characters.

This. I didn't know many people with a Genesis (and even nowadays an overwhelming majority of my gaming friends had SNES), and when people talk about that period in time and about the best games of the era, they're pretty much exclusively talking about SNES games...

Re: Point 2—yes they are. they have a thirst for human blood and need it. Sure, the sun doesn't burn them up, but in many old Vampire legends the sun didn't harm vampires either. Even in Bram Stoker's Dracula (the novel), the Count walks outside in the daylight. The whole idea of vampires being killed by the sun comes

I played RE5 with a friend and found it much less stressful than if I'd been playing it alone, but that's coop.

No, it's because the game wasn't really scary. Other than a very small number of scenes, such as the chase scene, it became obvious early on that the only way to die would be either a) randomly inspecting the wrong thing, or b) during certain events, such as the one where you're locked in the infirmary.

I think it's one of those "If this were happening to me I'd be terrified, but it isn't, so nothing that's happening is actually scaring me" games.

I disagree. Corpse Party has an amazing mood/atmosphere, but isn't scary in and of itself, with the possible exception of the first chase scene. I had zero problems playing Corpse Party at night with headphones on in a quiet house, but cannot do most horror games.

Bioshock scared me at first, but it didn't last too long. Except for cameras and bots (which aren't scary), the only enemies were splicers, all of whom were pretty much the same human-enemy with a different weapon. Yes, Houdini and Spider Splicers were a little more unique than the others, but when it came to the

This is basically how i was able to get through the first Silent Hill—I played it on my vita, in the middle of the day, on the bus.

I have yet to find a horror movie that actually scares me, but I can't really play horror games either. I think it's because movies allow me to be completely detached whereas I get into games more completely because I'm trying not to die.
