Galvantula and Joltik are my favorite mons. So i couldnt not include them :3 But for my story playthrough im sticking with primarily Galarian too. Except Golisopod, who i never used in sun moon.

Orbeetle might be the first time I’ve stuck with a bug type from the start of a game all the way to the end. It’s such a useful typing mix and it’s so cool design-wise. I love the fact that it looks like a ladybug-themed Gundam... or Gundam-themed lady bug... whatever, you get the idea.
An ice type wanting to commit arson.
I was sad Volcarona wasn’t in the game, but totally got stoked when I saw Frosmoth when the gym leader used it. Focused on getting one right after fighting her.
I love snom. I dropped everything to get a well statted snom and evolve it into frosmoth when i discovered it. I also have a weakness for the bug types. I intend to make a full bug team once i beat the game, to live out my bug gym master fantasy for the first time.
Now let’s all agree never to be creative again.
Don’t bug me I’m scared
It would certainly explain the number of crits my Frosmoth has gotten.
Snom is creative, confirmed. Green is not a creative colour.
Again, these are opinions, not facts.
“But the fact of the matter is GameFreak are kinda lazy devs that do a lot of bullshit that other devs cant get away with.”
I mostly agree, but it’s not that GameFreak are lazy or anything. There are probably many devs who are very invested in delivering a good game. But they have to work on corporate interests and deliver the game on a very short time. I’m sure that’s the biggest problem.
No one is saying you can’t be unhappy. But the rage is overblown.
Did you get rid of those old games? If no, then you never have to say goodbye.
I’m sad about the gen 1 starters but it’s still a fun game.
we all must learn to like new things, for stagnation rots the brain.
How do you know one of the new Pokemon won’t become a favorite though? You’re throwing out an entire game because one Pokemon isn’t in it?
Having no technical knowledge on the subject myself, my answer would be: Nintendo.
