In the behind the scenes videos, where the five women are filming all the combat on padded green sets, they always looked like they were having an absolute blast between takes. I believe they also talked about how those were physically demanding roles not often offered to young women at the time.

Logan.

There was always redheaded Laura Prepon. There’s nothing unsavory about her personal life, right?

When Leah Remini was asking that question publicly, the story was that the police had talked to the woman privately and she was fine. Now I’m wondering if those police were a) from the LAPD and b) Scientologists?

Remember the good old days when people like those hated pedophiles, Nazis, and Russians? Though I’m assuming none of Masterson’s alleged victims were underage.

Which of course still leaves the possibility that he actually did it, with a gag order.

The jokes are funny as hell, for the moment, but I have to admit I was staring at his upper lip the entire movie, and didn’t really notice anything wrong with the process. Of course, I might be too used to half of the bodies in these superhero movies being entirely CGI in the first place.

He is just a random priest Clark doesn’t know, and he doesn’t know anything about Kryptonians or secret identities. He simply offers spiritual guidance in generalities that Clark can apply to his specific situation. It’s a pretty common conceit in fiction for dialogue to work on two levels, unbeknownst to one party.

I think in the Silver Age, the mirror was a shard from his crashed spaceship, so Kryptonian alloys can reflect heat vision. No idea what’s true these days.

Also: Not Enough White People Yet.

There’s nothing in the headline that would even qualify as an opinion; it’s just a recitation of facts.

It’s foreshadowed by the note as soon as they run away in the comic, though. Did the show do that?

It was a pretty good young superteam book, but it in no way resembled Runaways.

No, I remember that being part of the news blitz that accompanied the announcement of their firing. The only thing I didn’t know (and still don’t) was whether the rumors were accurate, or just part of Disney’s carefully managed damage control campaign, since the timing was so serendipitous.

Thank you for not being an article about sexual harassment and/or assault allegations.

Or she’s one of the hundreds of women right now who have found common cause in posting the stories of their assaults & harassments publicly, and naming names. Perhaps, like many of them, she had no wish to have any contact with her harasser.

Honestly, that makes it worse, not better. So instead of being a photo intended as a “joke” for her eyes only, it was seen by everyone who was part of that CD’s distribution.

It took me a day to realize what felt the most different about Justice League, and it falls in line with your observations. The first two Snyder films were packed with people throughout: in newsrooms and restaurants, on the streets and in government meetings, there were both minor speaking parts and tons of extras,

Not punny enough. You needed something like “He’s in one of the city scenes, looking stonefaced.”

Since he had a 20-year career, it might be a recent development. Also, with no body camera, who’s to say who gunned down all of Luthor’s mercenaries with .50 caliber bullets?
