Oh its very easy to understand. It depends which “class” we’re talking about. How many Raptor owners actually go off road? How many buy them as status symbols? Same for the TRX? That’s the “majority class” where the Hummer competes.
If you run out of gas where these trucks are commonly found (mall crawling) you shouldn’t be driving.
Will be interesting to see if it weighs more than HD offroad trucks like the Power Wagon (7500 lbs) and Superduty Tremor (7900 lbs).
1000HP Hummer?
So the Chevy buyers went to GMC. GM is still outselling F series through the second quarter so they’re probably happy there’s a more even mix between Chevy and GMC.
Where would you put a charger at a gas station? Replace pumps with chargers? Other than that, a gas station is no different than any other store with a parking lot. You’re better off putting the charger where people can get a quality meal or go shopping.
Are you upset that those companies want CARB to go away, or do you think they want less strict standards? In GM’s case they are saying CARB standards are not strict enough and favors hybrids instead of the full EVs GM is doing.
Perfect opportunity to debut a Camaro EV
They are calling it the Ram 1500 TRX, so its still a 1/2 ton.
Also Hummer and Cybertruck
The frame is adapted from the Ram HD.
Comparison between the Raptor, TRX and Hummer. Drag race starts with awful exhaust of the V6 Raptor, roaring TRX, then crickets for the Hummer. lol
Its king of the hill for a few months until the Hummer and other EV trucks with more power than the TRX come along.
