A crew cab long bed F350 weighs 7k lbs for the gas, and is over 8k lbs for a high trim dually diesel.

Except GM fullsize trucks are outselling Ford so far this year. Even if Silverado is losing sales, they’re just going to Sierra. Which I’m sure GM would prefer for a more even mix of sales between the brands.

Thank you for confirming everything I’ve assumed on my own.

My brother just picked up one of those “hideous” 3500 Silverados for his marine service business (he really seems to like it though and sought it out over the GMC). He initially had a Transit which is great for its low entry height since he does a lot of mobile work. However he has been needing to move customer boats

I think GM would prefer that buyers choose the Sierra over the Silverado for a more even mix to spread out GMC development costs. Which is what is happening. Overall Silverado and Sierra combined are still outselling Ford.

Pretty sure a subscription costs $4.20.

Which is now 3 years old and only has 190 miles of range, 480hp, and 5.6 sec 0-60. The Hummer is expected to have over 400 miles of range, 1000hp and 3 sec 0-60. I think it will be his next vehicle. Maybe even the Cyber truck. But considering for the usual “Tesla delay” with a new vehicle, we should see the Hummer

The competitors for this contract were GM, Oshkosh and Polaris.

That would be Oshkosh JLTV. Different vehicle and purpose.

I’d expect Arnold to be one of the first owners of the Hummer EV.

The 2021 base trim still comes with a column shift.

Hybrid with generator capability. 7.2-kilowatt four 120V 20A outlets and one NEMA 240V 30A.

We need more SUVs and CUVs with sliding doors. GM had the right idea with the Oldsmobile Profile concept from 2000. Pretty much looks like a “coupe” CUV of today.

Should have also noted that JD power changed the survey this year. They have added more technology and infotainment related questions which has dragged down many brands this year. Basically the most reliable brands have less and more simple technology and infotainment.

Shouldn’t really matter how many states were surveyed. The final results are still an average of results from the other 35 states.

Well both Ford and Chrysler lost about $2 billion each last quarter. GM still made a $300 million profit.

GM has design and engineering in the US, South America, China, and Korea.

GM still has the most domestic factories, and by far compared to foreign competitors.

Currently shopping for an HD diesel pickup for my business. Pretty much no inventory in south FL and I am having to extend my search to other states to find the truck I want. Within 1000 miles there is literally only one truck with my ideal specifications.
