You left out the width for some reason, which IMO is the most important dimension is determining which segment a truck fits in. Fullsize trucks have been the same “size” for decades, and are all much larger than midsize or compacts from any generation.

So Acura is following the path of Cadillac from the 2000s and early 2010s building sport sedans that no one wants, and seemingly no plans for more crossovers. Good luck with that...

A vehicle platform has nothing to do with the exterior of the vehicle. Its all the underlying structure. I provided you links listing GM vehicles from all their global brands (including Opel) on the same few GM platforms.
