Very true, I got sparkly eyed at the idea of the reunification and forgot all the reasons that it would not be a good thing right now. I’ve definitely done weirder essays so it wouldn’t even be that outside the normal for me. For a friends birthday I wrote an MLA cited essay on how her favorite albums songs related to her favorite characters in a show she loved.

The only time it makes sense to me is if it is in musical theatre or in a song with multiple singers, so like if the chorus (greek style) is responding to the actions taken in the song or original singer (No to This in Hamilton is a great example). But for a normal pop song real talk it makes no sense
