Love Miley, but don’t love the new hair.

One would think, in this entire article hand-wringing about how terrible the shows have gotten, there might be some information about ratings. Because, ultimately, that’s the only metric that matters.
Is he already going to be blind? Not that it matters, I guess, since Denzel Washington’s character is “Daredevil blind”, which is to say, “sighted”.
You truly believe that Succession had the best performances in every acting category, and in every other bloody thing they were nominated for? It was a good show, but it wasn’t perfect in every way.
I encourage you to use your DVR. Watching ad-supported live tv is a recipe for madness (there’s also Hulu, but that’s another conversation).
Succession is over. The Bear can now be a drama. Somehow (and I don’t know how to impact Emmy voters) we need to get past the idea that “this is the best show, therefore we’ll give it all the awards.”
Looking forward to next year. With Succession gone, The Bear doesn’t have to pretend to be a comedy.
Worth a shot. Rogue One’s the only truly good Star Wars film this century. While there’s certainly been some misses (lookin’ at you, Boba Fett), the Disney+ content has been better, overall.
I’ll allow it.
Scrap it all, start the Strange New Worlds Cinematic Universe.
I love that you use Frasier and Friends as your examples. Sure, if I can get 20 episodes of all-time classics, sure. I’m in.
And for those people this article and discussion is meaningless. I agree the majority of Prime subscribers have the full package, largely because 1) it came first, Prime Video was added as a ‘free’ bonus later, 2) The option to purchase Prime Video only is even more recent than that, and 3) there’s essentially no…
To be fair (or, at least if you’re interested in comparing apples to apples), you can currently get Prime Video for $8.99/mo, if you don’t care about the free shipping nonsense. I assume it’ll be $11.99/mo w/o ads, which is comparable to most streaming services.
Fair enough. Someone’s gotta be the 5th dentist.
I’m sorry, if it doesn’t have at least a whiff of coffee and incest, I’m just not interested.
36% on RT, sounds like you like it quite a bit better than most.
“B-” is actually far better than I would have guessed. But, give me 2 charismatic people that have at least some chemistry, some humor and I’m in.
“I don’t need the money” and/or “they weren’t willing to pay what I asked”. Which is good! Much better that than Matt Damon happy to sell crypto.
Oppie again left off the VFX list, which is criminal. Should they rename it the CGI award? Do they understand that ‘more’ does not equal ‘best’?
Right? Most of these are “Yep, that was pretty much what I expected.”
