I’m sorry, if it doesn’t have at least a whiff of coffee and incest, I’m just not interested.

I would have gone with the car chase scene in Dead Reckoning, but I can respect the train crash. I might have included both, and perhaps only had 5 or so Blue Beetle moments, but that’s just me.

36% on RT, sounds like you like it quite a bit better than most.

“B-” is actually far better than I would have guessed. But, give me 2 charismatic people that have at least some chemistry, some humor and I’m in.

“I don’t need the money” and/or “they weren’t willing to pay what I asked”. Which is good! Much better that than Matt Damon happy to sell crypto.

Oppie again left off the VFX list, which is criminal. Should they rename it the CGI award? Do they understand that ‘more’ does not equal ‘best’?

Right? Most of these are “Yep, that was pretty much what I expected.”

I actually like Peacock. I have the ad supported tier, but their ads seem to be less frequent, shorter, and less intrusive (read: loud) than most other ad supported services. Also, the Peacock “Originals” (admittedly, a fair bit is repackaged UK/Canadian shows) have a lower percentage of garbage than most.

He’s technically not being punished, he’s being treated. Ideally, at some point he’ll be able to manage his condition so that he’s no longer inclined to crime.

I can’t tell you how much I hate the word (sure, let’s call it a word) “adaptogens”.

He stood his ground when confronted with the serial killer; he was cowardly for abandoning Darby by just leaving. I guess I wasn’t clear.

Interesting that you brought up Chekov’s gun, as I was thinking that AI has become that. As soon as it was revealed that Ray-bot was deeply integrated into the bunker, and not just a cute phone app, it seemed obvious that it was going to be the killer.

That Zero Day sounds bonkers. I like the idea that to head a “commission to investigate cyber attacks” (why you’d need a commission for that instead of normal law enforcement is beyond me), you’d pull and 80 year old politician out of retirement.

Wow, I didn’t recognize him from the picture, so he might be on to something.

Never mind that the source material is decades old, while zombie Duncan returning is somewhat surprising, his existence is not particularly important, compared to his subsequent actions.

Demetrious Polychron

You’re entitled to your opinion, but yeah, that’s a pretty hot take.

It’s accounting fiction, but the film industry has been doing that for decades.

Loki showed that variants can be different age, appearance, gender or even species.

I’m unaware of anyone claiming either movie is a financial success (Flower Moon appears to be a solid critical success), but both of those movies were made for AppleTV+. The theatrical run is for awards consideration and whatever $$ they get is a bonus.
