So, Memphis Express is like American Express, but you can only use it for BBQ, I’m guessing?

Better casting than Mark Zuck... I mean, Jesse Eisenberg.

All hail Queen Cersei, first of her name! Lena Heady (and credit to the writing) turned her from what might have been a one-note, mustachio twirling villain into one of the most complex and compelling characters in a show littered with them.

You forgot the *It’s Delicious* bullet point.

Is the picture of Channing Tatum? Why does he look like he’s the keynote speaker at a Unite the Right rally? #UnfortunateHaircut

Free beer, but it’s Coors Light. This is the Medium Place, isn’t it?

Note to self: don’t read The Takeout when there’s no (non-boring) food in the house. This recipe sounds lovely.

As people pointed out, WW1984 is next year. My mistake. That leaves Frozen 2, Toy Story 4 and Spiderman: Far From Home to potentially round out the top 6 of 2019. It’s a good year to be Disney.

I didn’t like TLJ, but plenty of people did, and it made $1.3 billion. There’s no reason to expect 9 won’t break $1 billion, particularly with JJ Abrams back at the helm.

“Simmer down, now. We’re not going to win any Best Picture Oscars that way”

Avengers and Star Wars will almost certainly beat it (and will likely be top 5-10 all time), but beyond that, Wonder Woman 1984 is the only thing that’s jumping out at me as being in the running.

Both IM2 and Thor 2 were, at best, not great. IM3 was better than either of them, verging into “Hey, that was pretty decent!” territory.

It was pretty much the 80s version of The Shape of Water.

What are you fighting for here? Why do we care if there’s one less Simpsons episode to have on in the background while you’re making dinner? Ditto with MIB2. Don’t get me wrong, they’re 100% doing this for the optics, as someone mentioned, if this were a matter of conscience, they would have done it years ago.

“Thank god the Fox deal went through in time for us to use the Wolverine scenes.”

You mean Benedryl Cabbagepatch?

If you’re coming to the Arrowverse expecting critical thinking (or even bare minimum plot consistency), you’re going to be disappointed.

He lay awake in panic for an hour before falling back asleep, figuring he’d observe the damage in the morning.”  Scared for his life, but still sleepy. I get it, mate.

Fair point. I should have qualified with “as of this writing” because it was true at the time. It no longer is. Sadly, no edits on kinja.

89% positive on Rotten Tomatoes, this is absolutely a minority opinion. Presented without comment: All of the negative reviews are from men.
