ever since i started having wrist problems from my mouse the only laptop test i’ve needed was trackpad responsiveness to handle non-dominant hand input. i understand that this is more of a “career” tip but as an IT guy i don’t think i ever saw the laptop as anything but a tool to propel my career.
it was the best of times it was the worst of times...
I’m getting too old for this
do you need a garage to have these guys? i can’t even seem to toy with the idea of owning anything but gas mainly because i’m a renter.

It’s very typical for CR to leave out “fun” as a factor. in recent years I've seen CR becoming sort of a cancerous nag that forces car makers to churn out vanilla cars for the sake of a good CR score
In fact that’s what we’re doing right now but we expect we’ll eventually need a bigger place for kids and stop renting.
Projecting my future spending has been helpful for me since a) I know that my wife and I will need a 2nd car down the road and b) We really want to buy a house in the near future.
