Something about Dayton. Similar thing happened a few years back. During a brawl, an opposing player rifled the ball at the Dragons’ dugout, only to miss and hit a fan sitting behind the dugout.

Sure as heck looked like Harper was staring at him as he rounded the bases in that 2nd blast.

Nice try.

Everything we’re saying about Papa Ball? Those of us who are old enough said the same stuff about Papa Marinovich. It’s not about race. It’s about assholes.

Which one? The dad, or the kid?

Shoulda stayed in his lane.

Tweet of the decade may have come from comedian/writer J. Elvis Weinstein...

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit again.

And people ignore the fact that the Pats figured out that Jalen Collins, as tall as he is, wasn’t going to be able to keep up with Edelman on the comebacks; he just didn’t have the agility, and that killed us.

I agree: Falcons have been throwing in those situations all year long. But to run an empty backfield?? Jesus.

And I’ve said this before: even if the Falcons run the ball on 2nd and 3rd downs, New England has a time out. At best the Falcons would’ve attempted a FG with 2:40 (or something like that) left on the clock.

So their business model is built differently than, say, The History Channel? They rely more heavily on the carriage fees than other basic cable networks?

May I ask a dumb question? ESPN is on the basic tier of all of the cable and satellite providers, correct? So a subscriber can’t just cancel ESPN. He has to cancel that entire tear, i. e. “cut the cord,” so to speak.

Or as Steve Czaban calls them, “Same and Samer.”

Glad I’m not the only one who found these guys to be the sports talk radio equivalent of Jimmy Fallon.

I’ve been wondering what Quincy Carter’s been up to lately.

What the hell was that??

Only the young ones. Those of us who’ve been around know better.

It makes no sense to trade him now and he’s also got to prove himself worthy of a big contract so he’s gotta produce if he wants out anyway.

And that number of can’t miss prospects will continue to drop as more and more high schools adopt the spread option and fewer and fewer QBs get the chance to develop NFL-type skills in college.

You want to fault Pace for trading the farm, sure. But he’s protecting the QB position best way you can in this silly league; INSURANCE.

I’m happy to see Al Pacino and David Gest’s baby has grown up and is doing well.
