Yeah, absolutely. Tales games either have stories I absolutely love or completely ignore, but the battles are always fun. But even in the games with stories I loved, like Berseria for example, I just couldn't drag myself across the finish line.

I feel like other than Symphonia I've made it 90% through every Tales game and stopped. They never fail to do something tedious or boring or infuriating right at the end that makes me call it a day. Still definitely buying this one, playing it right til the end, and uh... leaving!

If you give literally anything time people will say "Uh, actually, that was good". Having someone do this to Skyward Sword is less surprising than the Star Wars prequels, but it is NO LESS INCORRECT.

Probably doesn’t hurt that they tell stories in basically the same way, by creating a big world with a bunch of intermingling elements that you only learn about if a character who would mention those elements pops in and is prompted.

OooooooOOOOhhhhhhhhHhhhh?

They did a big reset on that once back with HGSS, they're definitely getting close to having to do it again. My guess would be the diamond and pearl remake sets are going to hit the hard reset button on it.

I think terminal them as “not basic or evolution” cards is there to make it so you can’t deck search for them, so it would be pretty tough to rely on getting all 4 pieces.

Ludwig is sort of... permanently mounted...

Buddy that's a Yakul, not a horse, and don't you forget it. Everyone knows Yakul can double jump!

With both players tied at two games in the best of three grand final

If only you could talk to these dimensional rifts, then perhaps you could make friends with them, form alliances... now THAT would be interesting.

OooooooooooooHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh

You can't walk in here, named Friday Chamberlain, and call someone ELSE a Trump supporter, ma'am.

Immediately thereafter 500,000 people said "wait, what am I doing" and 500,000 incognito tabs were opened.

Man, so many of these were clear successes. There were 4 main series Monster Ranchers, then Evo, then a DS game, then a half assed online version attempt. Yo-Kai Watch was MASSIVE for years, Digimon has lasted as long as Pokemon, etc. Specifically regarding Monster Rancher, too, the gameplay is completely different

something beyond your control”

“I’m finally going to give the anime a shot.”

OoooOOOOoooohhhhHHHHHH

Lol I’m imagining a scenario whereby IGN staff now quit en mass, some join Kotaku, and we get a reverse Deadspin.
