Hmmmmmmmmmmm......
Hmmmmmmmmmmm......
People keep saying this, yet consoles have hit for the same ballpark price at launch for more than 20 years.
Sony cleared up the backwards compatibility thing back when they mentioned the "top 100 games" thing. They have a method for the backwards compatibility, and they tested that method USING the top 100 games. So most games overall will work, and as of a year ago they are working on making everything work.
This one sounds like how I feel about “The Fountain” (the Aronovsky movie). The people making the product seem to be laboring under the misapprehension that their point is GRAND and AMAZING and INSIGHTFUL but all they’re actually doing is hitting you in the face repeatedly with the most obvious hammer in existence.…
I appreciate this joke, but I do wonder about the deeply disturbed individuals who think the thing under the TV needs to match their couches.
Boooooooo. It looks like they put some effort into how it looks! The XBSX looks like a wastebasket to me, and people seem to love how it looks. When did everyone decide “it looks boring” was good again?
I... have some bad news about the legal system, too. If you will kindly look outside, uh, there are some angry people who would like to discuss this...
It's just gonna be a cutscene that triggers when you log in after reset, I cannot envision a world where Bungie has managed to actually do a live event.
Given how much of a house of cards Destiny 2 seems to be, where tweaking one gun seems to break 15 unrelated things, i wonder if delaying something is even possible for Bungie.
This doesn't seem to be the case, these days they just refuse to do filler arcs and instead wait for enough content to make a new season.
Are you serious? “I have multiple older characters, I bought the game a long time ago, why can’t I play a free trial again?”
Except AC1 DID have nothing to do and imagining it without even those sparse side missions is hilarious.
I like all these picks except Brotherhood, which has all the usual anime tropes that infuriate non anime people (including the piles and piles of truly anime bullshit at the end, the faces, the humor) while also just... sort of being a let down for the last 30% or so. I think something truly wild like FLCL or Devilman…
The ending of Brotherhood is at the very least equally unsatisfying, and in some ways I think the... non canon?... original anime does better by its characters, for sure.
It is possible to suck AND be right. You seem well practiced at this!
Incredibly, I came out of reading this thinking every single person involved in this story sucks.
This is literally THE thing happening in the game right now. Nothing else is going on. The entire season, which people haven't liked, has come to this point, where something finally might happen in the story... and it has been bugged right before the one might be interesting thing happens. Its not like someone found a…
FF14 charges you for it monthly, there was never any doubt the work on ARR would be profitable if the game was good. No Man's Sky is a similar enough comparison, and it took them 3 years to make that work as well, but the cost of NMS versus the cost of Anthem is like night and day. NMS is also a unique experience,…
I might buy that if they weren’t saying here that they are paying 30 people to essentially restart the making of the game. It sounds like this revamp is going to cost a significant amount of money by the end, and when that re-release finally rolls around, won't they have to charge full price to make any money on this?
One has to wonder what the point would be, right? So maybe this comes out in 2 years, by then we’re deep into a new console generation and everyone’s memory of Anthem will be “What was that? The terrible loot shooter from a previously respectable studio? You mean Fallout 76? Oh, no, right, ANTHEM, that’s the one where…
