optional on H3

Not necessarily. The H3 had 5 of those identification lights and it was 74.7 inches wide.

I’m going to guess competition.

I love my LS7. There are a couple known issues that need to be taken care of, but once it’s fixed...a giant, torquey V8 that really loves to rev up over 7000 thanks to the lightweight rotating assembly is a thing of beauty. And sadly, something that will probably never happen again in a production car.

Frankly, your statement above, along with all your other writings on unions, leads me to believe that there is no argument anyone could make that could away you. You’ve made up your mind, and shut down any objectivity regarding the subject.

Same boat as you. I wanted one. Wife was completely against it and since it becomes her car in a few years when I’m done, she had a say. I am Gen-x and I recall my parents driving a station wagon, so I am admittedly surprised I like the Taurex so much. But clearly I was not a majority and another one bites the dust.

We have a 2018 TourX also.  The wife doesn't like sitting low but enjoys the sleek, black wagon garners where ever go

I showed my wife a picture of the new RS6 and she said yuck, looks like a wagon with a body kit (she’s not exactly wrong there).

I think the problem with Wagon’s is that they used to be what we see Crossover’s as now. Ugly, utilitarian, “parent mobiles”, that no car person wants or would enjoy. Then they died out and we mourned for the loss of practical driving dynamics in a more useful package as we saw the rise of the SUV and CUV that

when huge swaths of the American mainstream wage earners cannot reasonably afford mainstream American new cars, and another large group can only afford ONE of their cars to be new...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Damn. It’s a car I would have, almost, maybe considered, possibly buying.

Get almost the same in the 427 convertible. A Z06 except for the steel vs. aluminum frame and the top of course.

I love that car and engine - it just sounds ferocious on startup. I am however scared of the valve dropping issues.

  • $11,000 signing bonus is egregious

That is a quintessential racecar noise. I love it.

The 3rd gen Tacoma was ruined by the 3.5 V6 which is a horrible engine, let alone for use in a truck. It’s an insult how much the price of a TRD Pro Tacoma has increased sonce the 3rd gen was released. The price rose several thousand dollars yet it’s still stick with a horrible engine, drum brakes, the option of a bad

Where’s my TourX without the stupid cladding (unless its fake woodgrain, then feel free to call it the Roadmaster but only if a rear-facing 3rd row is installed), the RWD coupe successor to the Regal GNX Turbo, compact Skylark sedan and for cryin’ out loud luxury minivan!

I think you are overestimating the support of the UAW specifically. They have been caught several times grossly misusing union funds and while you cite Barra’s bonus, that is public knowledge and far from illegal. Outside of Detroit and the midwest, not many people are aware or even care which plants are unionized and
