I think people are really missing the point with this. The fines, or possible fines, really don’t matter. The fact is there are thousands of 2016 TDI’s sitting at port while the EPA holds them hostage. The cost of that is absolutely enormous. The fines are a very minor issue in comparison.

If you care about fun and you dont care about going fast, the lack of power steering makes sense and I agree with the choice.
