I like it. Came very close to buying an Evora and this looks better all around - let’s hope it is. The Toyota 3.5 V6 is good for much more than the 416hp in the Evora GT. It is limited by the torque rating of the Evora transmission, which is sourced from Aisin (Toyota) used in a small diesel application. I hope the

This. Make it less boy racer and more acceptable for somebody over 30 to drive. See my comments above on a Buick Encore GS / Chevy Trailblazer SS.

I like it, and I like the concept of a small hot crossover (although that sounds risque). There isn’t much in this niche on the low end, if you exclude hot hatches like the GTI. Macan is arguably small enough but lives way outside the market for a car like the Kona N.

That’s a good take. I’ve always selected a manual whenever I had the option, and sometimes chose a specific car because a manual was available. I think I’ve bought around 16 NEW manual vehicles. I do think the days are numbered though.

My Camaro with an LT1 (very similar to the LT2) says to keep under 4000rpm and take it easy for 1500 miles. A C7 Stingray with the same LT1 says 500 miles. LT2 says 500 miles. Seems somewhat arbitrary for an LT1 to need 1500 miles and LT2 to need 500 miles. I believe the engineers when they say there is some benefit

It would be interesting to see the Venn diagram of Tesla owners who also own an iPhone. I bet the Android carrying Tesla driver is a very rare thing.

Is it weird that I really want this thing? And also that I want to hot rod the s**t out of that small block V8 to make a 600+hp A-team van and take it to the drag strip?

This is exactly my dealer, in a different state. I wonder if GM is underestimating the value of having dealers in all these in-between type towns. I buy Cadillac largely because of the local dealer and convenient service. If I’m going to the nearest big city for a Cadillac I am much more likely to buy a German brand

That’s exactly where I am and I’ve purchased several Cadillacs because they are the only ‘luxury’ brand dealer within 75 miles or so. It is convenient for service. My Caddy dealer is also Buick/GMC and does not sell a ton of Cadillacs. I’ve had some German brands that are not sold in my town of ~60k people and they

There’s one in my neighborhood. Not far from the neighbor with a Cascada too. I have weird neighbors.

I like it! Would def want the Edition 1 spec though. I’d love to see a Wrangler sized Hummer EV with the same roof and design aesthetic for $50-60k.

True, but when I bought my FR-S some years ago it was about $30k out the door. The very lightly optioned LT1 manual was $30k and change after discounts and incentives (which included $2500 on my GM Card, which is not available to everyone). Maybe this is apples/oranges comparison, but in my case it was a real world

Please Honda, Please....

I don’t completely disagree. I had an FR-S (10-series) manual for a few years. It had the TRD intake and exhaust, which I think opened it up a little. It was nimble, great shifter, and overall a lot of fun. But you had to wring its neck for it to not be really slow. The HP was acceptable, but the lack of torque made

I’d settle for 250HP if NA and revs high. But it won’t start at $25k. More than needing power, GT86/BRZ/FR-S is too expensive for what it is. I bought a new LT1 V8 Camaro, 6-speed manual, for $30k, and it is twice the car as a 86/BRZ (I had a FR-S for a while).

I think it’s crazy to hook up 14,000 pounds to any half-ton truck. The suspension and frame has traditionally not been up to that kind of weight. Now, maybe Ford has beefed up the 1/2-ton here to support it but me thinks this is a bit risky to promote that kind of towing capability to average Joe half-ton pickup

Maybe the dealer that found ‘metal shavings’ in the oil and where the sales rep said it won’t come up in trade-in here is just using that as a tactic to sell a new car?

I agree with that take - 718 Boxster is just too expensive with a 4-cylinder. Porsches all around are too expensive for what they are, except for the GT3/2 at MSRP, and this is coming from a guy that bought a new 991.2 Carrera. Even the GTS 4.0/Spyder/GT4 suffers from the long gearing which ruins the street driving

...all these dipshit democrats bitching that unemployment isn’t paying enough...

Looks like a Camustang designed by Nissan.
