You ain’t lived til you’ve gone down on a Cookie Puss.

Seriously I don’t know how anyone thinks it’s at all interesting.

Multiple movies with “Acolyte” in their title were also review-bombed before the show even came out, which tells you the kind of brains we’re working with here.

To be fair? Hopefully you’re just saying that as an expression and not because you think racism is a fair response to a show you don’t like.

If you haven’t noticed by this point that the racist sexist douchecanoes who tank RT scores choose “boring” as their dogwhistle for “focuses on women” and “sucks” as “includes POC” then I don’t know how to explain it using even smaller words. They’ve been doing this to every single show and movie they can since

with its Rotten Tomatoes audience score having tanked not long after suspiciously before its release.”

I care about Frenchie’s subplot in the sense that I hate it with the heat of a thousand suns.

So basically anytime Homelander shows up and starts smiling, it’s only a matter a seconds before someone gets lazered.

It’s even worst. There’s no food in there...only bodies...Someone may come to get her eventually but...

Some motherfuckin movie studios are always trying to ice skate uphill

THR also notes that Marvel built a whole train station set for the movie at one point, for Tariq’s version, that now isn’t getting used, although it might end up being utilized by some other Marvel project. (And now we’re going to be watching every Marvel project like hawks, trying to figure out which bit is the

I was going to say the same thing. a short flashback is still a flashback

Oh definitely, I couldn’t believe they made that work so well in Orphan, not just having the actress be older and playing younger, but then giving us something as crazy as that twist. Ouija 2 is another one that is somehow massively superior to the first (low bar on that one though) and does something more interesting

From the wiki, Frederick Vought defected in early 1944 and either had recently successfully injected Stormfront or did so shortly after arriving in the U.S. Soldier Boy was then likely injected with compound V in early 1944 and went on to fight in the last 12-18 months of the war.

Oh, you know those shifty, shrewd mavens at the American Egg Board are already all over a placement deal...

Will there be soldiers in this?

Yeah even though the curse and the monster were clearly going to continue, since the whole thing was a giant metaphor for trauma its hard to make it do anything new or interesting since they explored that idea pretty thoroughly. I am willing to bet it will just be a retread of the first one, with more elaborate

No! We had a deal!”

This show has desensitized me to gore so much it's no longer cartoonishly comical. I think it's goes there too much and should have more character based humor and satire. This is coming from someone who loves the Peter Jackson film Braindead/Dead Alive.

I actually think Firecracker’s story line is one of the most believable.  That kind of shit will DAMAGE you at 13 and yeah, if her family was that poor, she probably wouldn’t have had many opportunities besides being a cu*t for god and white terrorism.
