You make all very good points. I agree that not every game studio is Riot. Where I am in my life, there’s insufficient reward for switching over to that industry. From a culture standpoint, it’s also a bad fit. I will leave it to others who have greater interest and reasons to join and create that change. Gotta pick…

I’m satisfied with my decision 20 years ago to not get a job in the video games industry. Every time I track progress into whether it’s changed enough that I would want a job there, I see evidence that it’s just not a fit for me. If anything, it seems worse than 20 years ago.
