I got my enjoyment out of the game and may come back later when a new season hits, when I’ll have plenty of things to do again!

And here I am, lamenting the lack of survival mode. (sigh)

Hopefully the devs will work to fix the game in such a way that loyal fans want to continue playing.

I am so over the whole concept of “games as service.”

This is one of those best worst ideas that needs to happen.

Oh... but you being played. The Man, Big Business, The Man Behind the Curtain, That Woman Who’s Always Chopping Vegetables in that Prison Break show... yeah, they all playing you.

I can’t star this enough.

i’m curious what the median would be...

that rises to damn near 90% at 3 years

expects a bunch of comps and freebies and never pick up a check

My use of bits tends to be sending a congrats/sadface message with a token/worthless amount of bits.

This reminds me of “The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories”... where you have to suffer some nasty injuries, to make progress in each puzzle level.

Thankfully, the Destiny LFG discord server makes it easy for randos to group up for a legendary... although, there’s a degree of competency expected.

I don’t work there and I don’t know details about his contributions. However, as you stated, his fingerprints are everywhere at RS.

I suppose. I have mixed feelings about PvP things having a weapon disparity. I also have mixed feelings about tedious grindy things.

It’s work.... I mean, somebody has to actually log into your account and do the things to make it so you get the things. It’s absolutely a form of pay-to-win in terms of getting gear, but the buyer is gonna need to be good enough to actually maintain any kind of pvp ranking.

I bought into the Corsair glowy keyboard/mouse thing, and then switched to the logitech glowy keyboard/mouse/mousepad thing.

At least the carry services/account-boosting form of pay-to-win isn’t pushing Bungie towards just creating a marketplace for buying god-roll gear.

you are still funding an extremely publically racist author’s works (however indirectly).

Maybe the shoutout was still worthy, earned solely on an impression that he left with, after one or more interviews with you. Maybe you’re just a very thorough journalist that doesn’t toss questions easily answered with rehearsed talking points.
