I took our dog to the off leash park for the first time this week, and she was awesome! Stayed close, didn’t bolt, came when called, was friendly with other dogs. An all around success.

Idk, i’ve been feeling kind of blah for the past week, but i’m happy that I got to see my family today even though I ended up not doing cool things in the city that I had originally planned.

They really are. I’m disabled and one of my cats has decided he’s going to be my personal helper, without having any training. If I need help, he stays with me meowing until somebody comes to help, then stands guard to make sure they do help. Once I’m sorted, he then has to have cuddles.

I went to my first Al Anon meeting this week, and I'm going again tomorrow. Maybe I can learn how to disentangle myself from someone else's problems is my hope, and I guess I am a little happy that I'm trying something which might help me see my way through this.

So my dog has cancer. I’m assuming. We get the biopsy back in a few days but looking at the X-rays with the vet - I don’t see what else it could be. She’s 9. That doesn’t seem old enough to me. She still runs around like a puppy. But the cancer is in her jaw so at some point she just won’t be able to eat any more.

I hate how fucking redneck everything is here in Tennessee. Even in Nashville I don’t give a shit what anyone says, there’s so many more backwards troglodytes than progressive, forward-thinking people. It’s really fucking discouraging. That’s all. Hope everyone had a great week.
