You keep missing the point. It’s not about what I think is right or wrong, which is also a basic tenet of studying other cultures through the Anthropological lens. You are completely off base if you don’t think that studying other cultures is supposed to be unbiased.
Everyone’s “right or wrong” will always differ, even

I actually have a Masters in Anthropology, so I have studied lots of history and human nature, along with many, many, many cultures (ad nauseam).
And you aren’t getting my point. I am not saying that it is right (or wrong), just that you should not criticise another culture’s belief or practices just because you don’t

Tell me you know nothing about Anthropology and cultures without telling me...
Of course it’s racist to think that ‘your way’ or ‘culture’ is superior to or than someone else’s. It’s literally called Cultural Racism.

I was invited to view this, pre-release, many months ago from Netflix Preview Club. I gave it the benefit of a doubt and watched it to review for them. Mainly because the caveat was, “CGI is unfinished, editing and sound is not final, and it may not resemble the final product”.
IT WAS GODDAMN AWFUL.

It was a cultural thing at that time. Honor and seppuku. Toronaga didn’t kill anyone’s baby. It may be wrong to do, but please be respectful of others’ cultures and don’t be a racist.

I seriously cannot wait for this. AppleTV+ has had a great run of sci fi shows of late.

That is some shit casting for Tiny Tina, and for Roland. Kevin Hart is always just ... Kevin Hart.
Something feels off about this in general. I’ve played hundreds of hours on all the Borderlands games, which are great, but they have definitely Hollywoodized this and maybe sanitized it a little too much.
I’ll watch it,

It had better blow away my expectations, because they are incredibly low at the moment, and have been since before Part I.

From the CR article, if it helps, “For this roundup, we focused on American-founded and -based companies...” and “All of the cars featured here are CR Recommended, but not all are built in the U.S.”

It’s been available to stream for a while now, nothing new to see here.

I saw Atlas as a Netflix preview member several months ago. There were many scenes with (very) unfinished CGI, and it may change based on our feedback (right...), but it was terrible anyway. Casting, acting, plot, all bad. Do not watch this thing.

There’s not much point to making either of these new Dune movies. Yawn.

Is it though? Prove it. Show me a list that doesn’t also include Bad Boys 4, The Fall Guy, or Mean Girls, and I might believe you.
The first movie, Dune Part I, was soooo bad and soooo boring.

Does anyone actually care about Dune anymore?  Ever?

Let’s just hope it’s not some shitty PC port from the console.  I can’t stand the menu and controls on those.  Hoping it’s close to the Mad Max game, which, was a port, was still great fun.

I hear you, but, I mean, it WAS Beetlejuice the Musical, not La Traviata or Les Misérables.

That was way too coherent for it to have actually been Trump.

I said exactly the same thing about Skyrim to my best friend, and he said, “It’s a fantastic game, you just need the right mods”, to which I replied, ok, can you tell me what they are, and he said, “I’ll send you a list!” The list had like a bazillion mods. So then we got into an argument over why I shouldn’t have to

The Isuzu VehiCROSS. I wanted one soooo badly.  Way ahead of its time.
