The dealer I went to was pretty quick about it and had stock on-hand when I came unannounced. My 06 Ranger has 110k on it, runs perfectly fine. I think you’ll find it’s based on individual situations and experiences. Of course, once they were done they, of course, did an inspection sheet telling me of about 2K worth…

Had my Ford Ranger takatas replaced once, early on in the recall.. then a few years later got another notice “j/k, you need another one, don’t die in the meantimes, lolz” with some fancy illustrations of my possible death... and yet.. I still drove it around for multiple months. Doesn’t take long people, just do it!
