Everyone would rather blame it on Congress than admit that this administration was a failure. Obama was too concerned with golf trips and visiting with celebrities.

Perhaps Obama should have taken fewer golfing trips and spent more time promoting his agenda. Then all this wouldn’t be “last minute”. Of course the administration was rock solid secure in their belief that the heir apparent would be crowned without a hitch.

“ You are extraordinarily stupid.”

Save it. He’s the kind of guy that leaves the bedroom door open when having sex because, “Them kids gotta learnt it anyways!”.

“You’re right, the rest of the world coming to respect America is bullshit”

“I’m all for calm heads but when was the last time a state took someone else’s navy equipment? Shit like this doesn’t happen between rival nations unless they’re trying to send a message.”

Yes and no. It’s not, “no harm no foul.” They’re harassing us, and the rest of the world, in the South China Sea. That’s a lot of harm and a lot of foul. It’s international waters, and yet they are militarizing man-made islands. They have seemingly convinced the Philippino President to accede to their claims.

“Still can’t believe we got a such a twat of a president elect...”

There’s no evidence that Hillary’s private e-mail server was ever hacked. In contrast to the actual State Department e-mail servers, which were repeatedly infiltrated by Russian hackers as recently as 2015.

A good enough article about a super important topic, but holy hell the click-bait title...

We should be concerned, but it’s funny how you all give a pass to the what it revealed. The Russians might have influenced stuff, the “CIA SECRET REPORT” that was leaked and now we all seem to know about now says that, it’s not proof and it’s not like we don’t do the same thing.

Not only that, we (young and healthy people) don’t want to pay upwards of $300 a MONTH for something we rarely, if ever use. I go to the doctor once, maybe twice a year for simple things like ear infections or strep throats. It’s cheaper for me to not only take the, in my opinion, unconstitutional penalty for not

Pipelines burst. Trains also derail.

Exactly. We see this every election cycle where one party passes the baton to the opposition. The masses seem completely fine with the expansion of federal control so long as its THEIR party who is controlling it. What time and time again they fail to realize is that the same power WILL end up in the hands of their

It’s amazing that so many on the left are not upset that this power exists, but that Trump will control it. As the article notes, Obama supported this because he thought Hillary would be in power. Where was the outrage then?

I swear to God, if I hear one more person whine about how Hillary didn’t live up to their “oh-I’m-so-special-and-couldn’t-betray-my-values” standards I am literally going to scream. I am more angry at them than for the people who actually voted for Trump.

When people talk about how they are ashamed of all US history, they are inadvertently outing themselves as having latent racist attitudes. You are only ashamed of ALL US history and culture if you view it only as a culture and history with only white, male characters.

Cool so you changed the subject. I’ll bite. What’s that third sentence in the first example and how does that make me a Trump apologist? And as far as the second example, where in there am I apologizing or excusing Trump? Because I brought up his name? Because I pointed out that a lot of his policy proposals are to

Give me a fucking break. Do you honestly think that Republicans only refused to work with Obama because of something so petty? The much more likely reason is that on a social, political, and economic level Obama was trying to achieve things that the Republican base disagreed with and allowing him to achieve those

I live in downtown San Francisco; sometimes it’s 55 in the morning and 70 at noon. The weather is so crazy that you have to watch it for 20 years to notice the climate...
