Well, you just showed me that my knowledge on the 22 is a bit out of date, like 5 years out. Last I knew, 2009/10, time frame they were being destroyed. AMARC was looking into how best to destroy the tooling.

Actually, the tooling for the F-22 was destroyed by Congressional order.

The A-10 doesn’t fit in with their amphibious operations. They can not be carier based without extensive modifications. Even then I still wouldn’t be able to take off from the much shorter assault class cariers. Hence the desire for a VTOL aircraft.

Tyler, when I was in Operation Allied Force at Aviano, the Marines had this problem all the way back then. They were dropping parts and panels so regularly that it became prudent to have them takeoff last so that runway FOD sweeps wouldn’t delay the rest of the strike package’s take off time. I don’t remember if that

The mission & cpabilities has have been rolled into the OA-10 watrhog.

Infer much? Sorry, but I don’t care much for Biden, as politicians go he’s one of the sleaziest, and that’s saying something. He has a high polish but is made of poor metal.

I don’t know Tyler, anything featuring crazy uncle Joe at its center is mediocre at best. Tends to take away from the moment.

I had an Aprilaire 1770A whole home dehumidifier installed onto a GEO-thermal HVAC system. It tends to keep the house down around 40-50% through the most humid months of the year. But it can drop it down into the 30% range if maxed out. I also have fresh air exchanger so there are a lot of variables to how much it can

Tyler and I attempted to put something together a while back. Problem is that even though the EC-130H is an electronic attack platform, it is still kept well in the shadows of the black world. Not much out there to publish that isn’t anything but plain old vanilla open source.

Tyler,

Is it wrong that I’d like to just by the truck portion of that?

Tyler, from my time on the EC-130Hs, If an aircraft veered too close to our bird while we’re in JAM, the EMI can overload and fry a lot of the delicate systems and avionics. It has happened a few times. Some even became a hard kill.

Looking at your ideas...It’s a good thing no one put you in charge.

If Russia phased them out, I am not aware, but yes the Sa-200 is the Sa-5. But there are still plenty of them still in operations around the world.

If I can counter you.. The S300/400 is a mobile system which puts it more in the realm of tactical systems, although it’s greater intercept range does offer strategic options.

The systems you’re asking about are actually relatively small pieces in a much larger cog of IAD assets that a Russian Commander would take into the field with him.

Don’t bother with that site. That man has been discredited and shunned throughout the community. Kopp tends to let his political and personal bias seep into his analysis. Most in the the community won’t even return his calls. He used to even send some of his papers our way hoping we would validate them. we’d read them

Tyler,

The F-22 and F-35 do have quite a few "Conformal Arrays" radars panels as well as com antenna panels. Ben Rich remarked that one of the hardest parts of designing a stealthy aircraft is how to hide all the necessary antennas and pitot tubes not to mention the pilot sending off returns through the canopy.

Tyler, those controllers are working in the same room as the general range controllers for the different (Red/Blue/green/yellow/...) flags. Because of the nature behind the aggressor vs blue, the building is called "Roulette". Also kind of goes hand in hand with it being in Vegas......
