It's the Hypermilers that really bug the shit out of me. I drive a F350,F-550,F750 for pulling my Livestock & Camper + general upkeep around the ranch. Each is heavily modified to accommodate pulling heavy loads up and over mountain passes.

Even the specter is limited on payload. It already has an extreme amount of weight compared to other 130s. Not only is it the weapons and sensors but a huge amount of armor that it has to carry aloft. Often they have to trade ammo for fuel depending on mission, else they take off without a whole lot of fuel and

If I remember correctly the Sa-4 system with all it's support and logistical requirements proved to unwieldy to effectively operate. The additional amount of equipment and manpower needed to launch those was extreme. But it was a good first attempt at mobile SAM employment. New strategies and doctrine in Soviet

This system is actually a bit of a re-hash from a long line of threat emitter trainers. Back in my day the AN/MST1A MUTES was the trainer of choice.

Actually, this is more of a re-hash of the old AN/MST-T1A Mutes systems.

If you think that is atrocious, my 03' F550 CC/LB/DRW 7.3 diesel has twin 65 Gal under frame tanks. There is a third 55 Gal tool box tank in the bed (you can get 60+Gal if you fill it real slow). Then a 80lb cylinder for propane injection under the frame. I use it for towing both cattle/horses and my 5th wheel

In another life: I have just under 1k hours on BLK20. Chief, Nav,....Going into turn....

I'm glad to see someone else knows about CC, Even though it is one of the biggest players it always gets overlooked.
