I see a lot of skeptics here giving all these reasons why they think adding an OBD monitor to a car is a bad idea. I have to wonder how many of these people are mechanics or directly related to the manufacturers because all I see are benefits for the consumer.

Fixed Stepon's photoshop for added realism.

Intercourse, PA, of course! On the way, he should stop by Hooker, OK. (SFW town sign linked)

Brady might need two more if New England goes all the way this Super Bowl.

Those Plymouths are one of those cars that you never want to put the top up on. Cruise slowly down the old town main street on a Sunday afternoon. Grab a chocolate egg cream at the local ice cream parlor. I'm dating myself here...

This car is an absolute beauty! I have no need for it, or place to store it, but I have always loved older cars and this one takes the cake for style, simplicity, and total practicality in a very hoonable form. I hope the new owner doesn't modify the hell out of it for track use. That would be a shame.

Seconded. #COTD !!!

I agree completely with this article. Touchscreens in a car is just a bad idea all around. Whoever thought this was a good idea is a fool.

+1. Detroit sure is slim pickings if this is the best they can muster up. Nothing compared to NY auto show. Nothing.

That is one sexy looking ship.

It's not you. I'm 5'11", 31" inseam, my seating position is similar to yours, and my knee hits the dash/center stack in the majority of the cars I've test driven over the past few years. The more utilitarian (beige) the car is, the worse it seems to be. My mom's RAV4 is the worst offender so far. I have to put the

So Chevy is coming out with a Scion tC. Yawn. Next?

This was a show? I never heard of it until today. I guess I didn't miss anything.

Not 100% on the styling, and not a fan of those wrap around LED light bars on the tail, but overall, pretty sharp looking for a compact. Anyone else notice it crying at the end of the video?

I'm still keeping my resolution from about 5 years ago. No more new years resolutions.

I posted a picture of that back in November in the 10 Most Phallic Car's article. Still not sure how the Wienermobile didn't make that list.

Yes you can find diesel, but it's not as easy to find as gas. That's why I said the infrastructure isn't set up for it. One pump out of the twelve at a gas station doesn't mean there's a well scaled infrastructure to support diesel becoming a viable option for the average consumer.

I live down south, out in the burbs near the country. Here the typical diesels you see (besides semi's and old Mercedes) are 1-ton pickups and similar work trucks.

I'm honored!!! Thanks all!

Diesel powered cars are all well and good and definitely much better for the environment than hybrids once you factor in battery pack (replacement). I'm all for better emissions and fuel economy. But did anyone stop to think of the downsides to diesel? Here are two and a half off the top of my head -
