Nice looking specimen, but I think the price is a bit high still. Not total CP, but I wouldn't bite.

I never knew there was a harlequin edition engine...
Agreed. He'd murder the show, or the other hosts would murder him.
I enjoy it. It seems a little bit less scripted than the UK version, which I like. I'm not a huge fan of Adam Ferrara in the show, but he does make a good punching bag for the other two. Also, Rutledge and Adam will gain up on Tanner, which keeps it interesting. They seem to do more 'murican things involving pickup…
Threshold braking will indeed stop you in a shorter distance, but I've yet to see an ABS system that actually does threshold braking. Most ABS demonstrations I've seen end up taking more distance to stop than proper threshold braking.
ABS helps you stop faster.*
Maybe some sultans have got them?
To be honest, I have liked the last season of Top Gear US more than the UK version. Maybe I'm the only one...
The back is decent... but that Predator front? Ugh.
Kia Soul... by Dodge?
I can just imagine a little car like this one with locking diffs on the front and the back. It would make for a hilarious, yet way too low, rock crawler.
"Find new roads... because we've already raped everything along the old ones."
I think you are right there - they won't ever build anything as amazing for a few reasons, the biggest being that the low hanging fruit have already been picked (or call it the giraffe principle, if you will).
I do remember parts of the manual for it also being declassified a while back...

Wow.... just wow. My brain hurts now after watching that.
I'd rather take a Peugot Hoggar:
You got me curious about pricing. Not as unreasonable as I had thought. Still expensive, but it certainly could be worse. That, and a touted range of up to 480 km is nothing to sneeze at.
It's a hybrid, so it probably doesn't count, but I still like it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_concept_vehicles,_2000%E2%80%932009#Alessandro_Volta
