Eva Levante:“Our warlocks built this mind palace for you to revel in-”

This seems to only apply to loot boxes and specifically to paid loot boxes. I don’t think non-paid randomized drop mechanics will be affected.

This is for loot boxes bought with real money not for games that random rolls on items earned while playing.

I just want to be clear - are you asking if this will mean that every treasure chest inside the game itself contains the exact same thing every time? Like the same number of gold pieces, same weapons and armor? This is the question you are asking?

God, please don't give them any ideas

This is the first in a long series of regulations that will be opted into, or forced on the gaming industry to stop exploitation and gambling. On the grand scale, this doesn’t mean much. They will have to publish the exact % rates, it doesn’t say anything about removing or altering the mechanics.

But it’ll at least make some buyers think twice before spending money. Seeing that the chances of getting an item is 0.001% is more informative than just knowing the

Is that a real question?  They are talking about LOOT BOXES not random loot in a game.

Or, you know, expect the visually impaired to call them on the phone.

A headline called “McDonalds Cups look like people having sex” linking to an article that is nothing but pictures of McDonalds Cups that look like people having sex is the literal opposite of what the word “clickbait” means.
