I love this show so much. You’re right about the relationships being the heart and soul of the show, and I’d also give special mention to the music. Not only the title and credits songs, but also stuff like the Blood Moon Ball, Just Friends, or the recent Silver Bell Ball songs, which are just fantastic.

The game that I want but will never get: 007: Everything or Nothing.

I just... can’t even comprehend why they would both put up a second paywall and not offer an ad supported version. I wonder how long it will take for them to decide if this gamble was worth it. They must have thrown a lot of money at people to grab the catalogue they have this season.

The Japan Academy Prize actually has seperate categories for best picture for live action and animated, so Shin Godzilla won the “Picture of the Year” award, and Your Name lost the “Animation of the Year” award to In This Corner of the World.

I love this show so much. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched through the whole thing, but I know it’s over 10. And honestly, I think the fact that it’s a kid’s show is one of its greatest strengths; it can cover serious and painful topics without the need to act all dark and edgy.

I feel like it’s also important to note that it was never planned to be split into two cours. They were originally going to air all 26 episodes at once, but production troubles made them split it into 2 parts of 13 episodes each.
