Season One ended with Mando being tasked with locating Jedi to bring Grogu too as he was a foundling needing to be reunited with his kind. The entire point of Season 2 was the journey to do just that. There were basically two realistic options, Ahsoka and Luke. Ahsoka saw what happened to her mentor and decided not to

It’s definitely less than the sum of its parts, which taken individually are already not good. But it does have the most acting.

I feel like even in the early 2000s the fat suit turned people off. I’ve never seen this. Although it’s kind of funny that this is the movie where Reynolds and Faris were about to explode and they met Amy Smart and Chris Klein on the way down.

It seems clear Whedon is a bit of an arsehole. What seems less clear is whether he’s notably more of an arsehole than the average creative person trying to impose their vision onto a project under difficult conditions.

Not sure what the coronavirus is supposed to have to do with it ?

And people talk about his “cheating” but the way it’s portrayed is more, he used his position to sleep with aspiring actresses and writers. Which is more than just being a serial cheater.

That’s a crock of shit. He may be shitty, but he definitely was the major force behind all of his works, for better or for worse.

Yeah, it’d be one thing to say, “Given what we know about Whedon’s general skeeviness, we should take it seriously when women accuse him of sexual misconduct.” But to this point no women have accused him of sexual misconduct, and I don’t know that the same logic can be extended to argue, “Given what we know about

i think it was good for about five episodes

What’s funny about that foreshadowing and setup for a second season is how everything also wrapped up a little too conveniently to the point where it got too far-fetched and questionable, like Shane being who he was all along and using that as the convenient way to connect Rosie Perez’s otherwise irrelevant subplot to

People talk about Whedon’s workplace affairs as cheating because the only person who claimed victimhood in that situation was his ex-wife. As far as I’ve seen, none of the actresses and writers he became involved with have come forward for themselves to say anything about their experience good, bad, or neutral. That

He could have burned the handle and thrown the head in the sea.

“Rosie Perez vs North Korea”

Don’t feel bad for him. He is not a good person. How he managed to skate by in the #metoo era baffles me.

James Marsters has an unflattering story about Whedon.

I’m pretty sure there have been plenty of not-so-hush rumors and allegations about Whedon being toxic over the years, w/r/t your “something we haven’t really heard about him from other projects” comments. Maybe it just hasn’t come to light until one straw finally broke the back, as with most toxic personalities.

All right, I’ll be the first to admit that clearly something happened and Whedon was in all likelihood in the wrong. We’ll probably never know the specifics but it definitely wasn’t good. Plus, there’s the fact that he left a show he was working on with HBO.

Other streamers do this. I know for example that Hulu had all of the Bob’s Burgers Halloween episodes in a section during October, and Disney+ has all of the Simpsons Christmas episodes in a section right now.

This commenter very much approves of John Francis Daley making a Dungeons and Dragons movie!

Interesting reading the comments on the face-scanning... I assumed it was revealing a hitherto unknown past connection between Mando and the Empire. But all those saying "it just needed a face" has left me feeling a bit deflated.
