IIRC, Brazil uses Ethanol, not Methanol. They grow an abundance of sugar cane, which is more cheaply processed into Ethanol than the corn that we use in the US.

Yep. A microturbine range extended hybrid system. Walmart wants to shift its fleet to CNG as much as possible, and that fits the bill perfectly. Plus the turbine is VERY light, so the addition of batteries and an electric motor is not a weight penalty as it is with an internal combustion system.
