Dat Roofrack Doh.

DO IT NOW!!!

Sup 2004.

And to that point, there is a big move to automated transmissions for Class 8's, which has led to some MPG gain as well as easier driving.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Walmart's concept also use a micro-turbine as an engine as well? The cool part of a turbine is you can use anything that is combustable, which makes it a great candidate for the prospect of CNG, 100% biodiesel, etc.

Walmart has been toying in the area of hybrid drivetrains, even broaching the use of a turbine power system that would more efficiently power electric motors/batteries. But by and large, the DOE SuperTruck program is the first real push of using a hybrid set-up in the Class 8 sector.

I am glad to know my last text annotation on Kinja will be of Old Jezza.
