Sansa saying that she used to think Tyrion was the smartest man she knew, pausing, and then walking away was perfect.

God are we going to have to listen to Sansa and the Northern lords whine and kvetch for a whole other episode?  Because I reached my limit with that about 5 minutes in.

I really hope they keep leaning into everybody just being weirded the fuck out by Bran. Dragons flying around and zombies on the march and nothing makes people more uncomfortable than the home schooled kid who cuts his own hair.

So it’s still weird to me that Jon’s parentage seems important to the show’s plot mostly because he’s committed accidental incest, but every time this plot point comes up it’s in the context of the legal line of succession to the Iron Throne, which the show has repeatedly demonstrated is irrelevant. Jon doesn’t even

GoT really should’ve sprung for a laugh track.

“Least I have my brother”
“About that...”

I don’t know what was more prevalent, the shade or the awkward. Both were cranked up really high.

“I’m trying to keep this family together”

Couldn’t agree more. Politics isn’t funny. Political satire is. Choir preaching is just not entertaining, nor is it politically effective. I actually think they would have turned more people off if they sacrificed the camp and comedy for a stronger political message.

You seem like a prick. I’m already working on my “you seem like a massive prick, yup” material for the finale review comments.

I liked Joel and the reactions Michelle was giving, it felt odd but also kind of hilarious that the editor kept underlining Michelle’s annoyance.

I loved Joel McHale, but I enjoy a) him and b) what The Soup/The Joel McHale Show (RIP) was all about and c) anything that annoys/disagrees with Michelle Visage and d) the taking down a peg of the show that’s trying to simultaneously be different from reality tv while succumbing to it.

I feel split on Joel McHale. I think he offered generally good critiques and praise to the girls, but he overestimated how much bro energy was needed on this show. I must say, I was thoroughly entertained by every shot of Michelle giving him side eye.

Olivia Taylor-Dudley did good work as Double Alice. I also really loved the “showdown” between Margo and Fen.

Master Lin should’ve expelled Maria as soon as he learned she killed Chico. He relies on a student to protect his family. He’s dishonorable to his sister. He didn’t even disarm the guy he knocked down the stairs. As principals go, he’s certainly no Jefferson Pierce.

I’ll say it again: best TV adaptation of a comic book in a good while.

Magicians hedge corner: tonight’s episode seemed rushed as hell between the Alice split and the quick mutiny. The pacing this season seems off.

Veronica just gets worse and worse by the episode. This might be rock bottom tbh.

I don’t understand why Ronnie was so upset about them separating when not only did he get your boyfriend thrown in jail, had him turned into a fight slave, and regularly sells drugs to everyone in town apparently

It was amazing that Hiram was acting like he had the moral high ground, and Hermione and Veronica both seemed to buy it

“So what if Mom tried to get rid of your drugs”
