@jahlers: Mmm, thermite. I like that option.

My only real use for Air these days is to use a standalone Pandora client (which the update works for).
Excellent tool. I remember as a kid formatting some hard drives on family members' old computers and thinking that was enough. How naive - these days, you need secure, government-standard removal.
I can't wait to see the Adium (and maybe Pidgin, too) people incorporate some sort of plugin that takes advantage of Google's video service. SO cool!
@OCEntertainment: [www.businessweek.com] - I know it's from December 2007, but I've heard nibblets over the past few months that corroborate this story.
@AmbrosineTonberry: Ha! Touche. :)
@undefined: I find that utilizing JkDefrag's screensaver to defrag my drives when I'm not working helps keep things running nicely. :)
Uggh, this looks realy cool - but I've already got wget installed under Cygwin. Am I a bad person if I install a program that duplicates functionality I already have? :(

@azzy: Me too!
I LOVE Powershell! I'm still used to Bash, but if you want to do Windows-side stuff (and want to avoid the limitations/shortcomings that something like Cygwin brings), I sincerely suggest you check it out.
@cyriene: I am, too. I think Free ISO Creator is a one-trick pony, while Imgburn creates ISOs AND easily burns disks.
@bachya: Whoops - meant to scratch the TKIP part - running ONLY AES.
Running WPA2 Personal with TKIP+AES on a DD-WRT enabled Linksys router; no problems so far.
@mr_dimsum: I guess I should check out WinAmp again, eh?
@ohhenry1: I think this program tries to be quicker than Picasa - rather than launching your whole library of images, you can quickly just open one image quickly (kind of what the default Windows Picture & Fax Viewer is supposed to be).
@mr_dimsum: My man, you should check out Foobar2000. Not a lot to look at right off the bat, but boy, does it ever play music with a small memory footprint! :)
@Captain Nimlet: Dude, have you tried opening iTunes 8 lately? What a bloated piece of junk. I'm all for more competition in the "media player market" so we don't all just resort to using iTunes.
I remember I used it mainly to play those Arthur games - what was that guy, some sort of marsupial?
@LeanderSnookie: Yeah, some people seriously do. It's laughable how much the drive-by media has influence people into thinking Palin is such an issue.
