Good point.  I’ve been using uBlock for ages and it is superior to AdBlock Plus even before it was a sellout product.  It’s a no brainer now.

Obscuring a plate does not put anyone at risk, and I don’t think that is the argument being made. The quote itself mentions obscuring your plate so that you can take part in other illegal activity with impunity, including speeding and running red lights, which does generally put others at risk

Ah. The article didn’t metion ad blocking, just tracking, so I didn’t realize it was a direct replacement. Unless that was part of the “and much more” or “and annoynaces”, but ad blocking seems like an odd thing to just gloss over instead of specifically mention.

uBlock Origin is on the list to replace AdBlock Plus because a while back ABP started accepting payment to exempt ads from getting blocked. A good chunk of the masses have switched to uBP.

Is there evidence that she is lying? Because many parts of this article basically accuse her of lying about this. Some people are genetic freaks and do have visible ab muscles, even without exercise. Maybe she’s one of them? The blatant accusations that she’s lying aren’t a good look. I don’t get this article. At all.

I don’t get it - why do i need an app or extension? Why can’t i just sign up for a duck email address on their website, configure it to fwd to my main address, and give that as my account email address when signing up for stuff?
