As a developer, it is not that difficult to deal with time at all. The problem is when developers want to save a byte here or there or make assumptions about the lifespan of the product and don’t grant enough memory to deal with changes (two number years in mainframe programs, for example).

Stuff like this is why you really want ota updates in your car.

They let a “freelance” salesman, their words not mine, work out of their office. I’d say the responsibility falls on them. Any company whose employee goes rogue on the job owns that mess, that’s the way it works, for better or for worse.

Will there be a penguin walking around like it owns the place? If not, I’m not really sure what the point is.

There are many visual differences. All of the unfocused tabs are merged together with no dividers now. You can still kind of guess where the division is between those tabs, but there’s no divider. And the focused tab is no longer highlighted unless you use their new theme, which is dark and makes the favicons…

It's terrible; fact, not opinion.  Just do the background security measures. The tabs are vague and worthless, I have to use other browsers now.  Why is it so difficult for billionaire tech companies to not simply leave the existing UI alone and add a toggle for new UI choices?  Seriously, what is that, 1 maybe 2…

I totally understand evolution of software, and perhaps some of these changes are necessary for some bigger changes, but I despise changing things for the sake of changing things. None of the changes that I see now are any sort of improvement from my perspective and they’ve only made it more difficult to stick with…

While I’m glad the option is there, I think anyone that falls into the “However, some people don’t want their data tracked and stored, period, no matter what conveniences it brings.” group, are better off not using Gmail for their email in the first place. Perhaps look at something like ProtonMail instead.

On AP disengagement, AEB should engage automatically. 

AEB (auto emergency braking) does override your inputs, trust me I know.

according to Tesla’s press release auto braking is disabled after 85mph. I agree if someone is driving that fast they sure as hell better be payng attention. https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/tesla_model_s_software_6_2.pdf 

The automatic braking system should still have intervened.  I suppose the speed differential was too great and the system assumed a human would have noticed the object so disregarded it as an error.

As I’ve gotten older, and learned more about health, class, and diets, I don’t find fatness as funny anymore (there’s still something that tickles my funnybone…
