Nah, I loved season 2. Colin Farrell WAS amazing (an actor I never appreciated at all until this role), also thoroughly enjoyed Vaughn & McAdams, & the finale - haunting. I felt by & large they still nailed the dark, existentially unsettling atmosphere that made season 1 so special to me. Haters gon' hate.
