Just a bit of advice on the mics... large diaphram mics are great but they're also sensitive. Unless you have great sound insulation, they'll pick up every drive by, neighbor fight, and cat fart for half a mile. If ambient sound is an issue, better to go with a small diaphram directional mic and tell your friends…
